Treasure Valley Kitchen Gardens grew from a shared love of plants, gardening, and the belief that growing your own food should feel approachable and not overwhelming.

We’re Amy and ShayLynn friends, moms, horticulture students, and the women behind Treasure Valley Kitchen Gardens. We met and our shared interest in mom life and horticulture quickly turned into a friendship and eventually a business built around something we both genuinely love.

Our connection to gardening comes from different places. Amy discovered a love for growing and gardening over the last three years and decided to turn that passion into a deeper education in horticulture. For ShayLynn, plants have been part of her story much longer, influenced by a grandmother who loved plants and gardening and passed that appreciation down to her.

When we aren’t talking about plants, designing gardens, or sitting in horticulture class, we’re raising 13 kids between the two of us, so we understand firsthand that a garden needs to work in real life. It should be beautiful and productive, but it also needs to be manageable.

That’s what we want to create for our clients: beautiful kitchen gardens that fit their homes, their families, and their lives. Leaving you with the knowledge and confidence to actually grow in them.

We don’t just want to build you a garden. We want to teach you how to grow.
